SUMMARY:24th Society for Airway Management  Annual Scientific Meeting and W
 orkshop
DESCRIPTION:The Society for Airway Management (SAM) will hold its 24th Annu
 al Scientific Meeting and Workshop from September 14th to 17th\, 2023\, at 
 the Marriot Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego\, California.\n\nThe cour
 se will feature international experts in various fields of medicine dealing
  with airway management\, and will include plenary presentations\, small gr
 oup round table discussions\, hands-on workshops\, and an audience response
  system.\n\nThe theme of this year's meeting is "From research to results: 
 applying the latest airway knowledge to clinical practice."\n\nThe target a
 udience includes anesthesiologists\, emergency physicians\, otolaryngologis
 ts\, intensivists\, trauma surgeons\, paramedics\, certified registered nur
 se anesthetists\, anesthesia assistants\, nurse practitioners\, physician a
 ssistants\, and flight nurses\, among others.\n\nThe meeting will also feat
 ure a call for abstracts\, a Challenging Airway Cases Session\, a New Speak
 er Forum Lightning Presentation\, and Trainee Travel Awards.\n\nThe meeting
  will be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Edu
 cation\, and participants can claim up to 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)
 .\n\nDr. Aderonke Adesiyan\, the President of the Society for Specialists i
 n Airway Management (SSAM) - Nigeria Chapter\, will be presenting a groundb
 reaking paper on the enhancement of airway management practices in Sub-Saha
 ran Africa.\n\nThis presentation is a part of the SAM 2023 Annual Meeting W
 hite Paper Session – International Chapter\, and we are proud to announce
  that Dr. Adesiyan's submission has been accepted for this prestigious even
 t.\n\nThis presentation will provide valuable insights into education\, tra
 ining\, and communities of practice related to airway management. Dr. Adesi
 yan's work represents a significant contribution to our field\, and we are
